1967 Mustang Coupe £24400

Super original, factory 289 V8 C Code Mustang Coupe, built at the San Jose plant on the 28th December 1967. The car features the 289 2v 200hp engine and optional Select Shift Cruise-O-Matic three speed gearbox which allows both automatic and manual operation to suit the driving conditions. The car was ordered with the 2.80 rear axle ratio.

In 1967 the Mustang now featured as standard a dual hydraulic 10” drum braking system which was an improved system over the 1966 model year. This Mustang also has the power steering option which received minor improvements to the set up over the 1966 model year.

Older Lime Gold paint with some small marks but very good condition overall. A popular feature of the 1967 model year is the slatted side scoop design on the quarter panels, which is unique to the 1967 model year.

Correct Black Vinyl interior The interior is mostly original and in good condition. The front seats have more recently been re-upholstered and are excellent. The headliner has also recently been re done.

The original door tag plate is still present on the inside of the drivers door. This matches up correctly to the vin number on the front driver's original inner wing.

Rebuilt engine within the last two years with receipts. Nicely detailed engine bay. The car also retains its original California smog emissions equipment.

Always in California before coming to the UK, this Mustang comes with its original black and yellow California number plates. Original owner card and owners manual together with the original supplying dealer booklet and lots of receipts and history.

New digital retro radio installed. New 15” Torq Thrust wheels with new tyres.

A very nice original California with great history. Cars like this are becoming increasingly difficult to find.
